FUDutse Announces August 9th As Work Free Day

This is to inform all Staff and Students that the Jigawa State Government has declared Monday, 9th August, 2021 (1 Muharram 1443 AH) as work-free day to mark the beginning of the Islamic New year 1443 After Hijra (AH) In line with this, all Public Servants in the state are expected to observe the work-free day and use it to pray to the Almighty Allah to deliver the Country from the present security challenges and other calamities.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed also enjoins all Staff and Students to use the day to pray for the University as we commence the 2020/2021 academic session

Staff on essential services are however expected to be at their duty posts during the period.

Work resumes on Tuesday, 10 August, 2021 (2 Muharram 1443 AH)
