The faculty of pharmaceutical sciences of University of Nigeria Nsukka Reportedly Splashed a whopping 10 million Naira to celebrate her 50th Anniversary.
This was revealed by the President of the Faculty, Mr Augustus Ezeodimegwu yesterday in an interview session with Myschoolnews TV.
Mr Ezeodimegwu explained that the event is an house-hold event and so is sponsored by the Faculty coupled with help from her Alumni.
The President also revealed that high calibre of dignitaries will be attending the event some of which are the Director General of NAFDAC, Mrs Mojisola C. Adeyeye who will be the distinguished Alumni lecturer of the event, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Charles Arinzechukwu Igwe who is the Chief host and a host of other prestigious Alumni who are making waves in the Pharmaceutical Industry within and outside the country.
Meanwhile, as at yesterday, when Myschoolnews TV visited the Faculty, there were clean ups, paintings and arrangements made in preparation for the event.
We also got to find out that the event is a 4 days programme Which will hold today through 3rd of April Sunday 2022.
And throughout the 4 days the Faculty will be hosting a cocktail party by 4pm at the Faculty today and from the 1st through 4th April will be other activities like ; Alumni lecture, Dinner and award night, Drug/product exhibition, and as well as a faculty tour.
He also revealed that there has never been such celebration in the history of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences UNN.
Adding that everyone whether part or not of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is invited to celebrate with the Faculty.
